Warframe – How To Get Wukong

Poor Wukong. For many years he languished at the bottom of most people’s Warframe tier lists. It’s not that he was terrible, as he was almost impossible to kill; he was just dull. His kit felt stilted and awkward, and the game had passed him by. Too many changes to what was meta meant Wukong felt old fashioned and dull to play. His rework changes this up dramatically, and Wukong is now far more fun to play, more suited to Warframe as it stands today, and still maintains his character.

How To Get Wukong

Thankfully, there is no grind to getting Wukong, as he is available from the Tenno Lab in the Clan Dojo. If you are not part of a Clan or do not have your Dojo, you will need to join one of set one up to get him. Spoiler alert: It is much easier to join an existing Clan that set up your own Dojo and do all of that research.

To get Wukong, visit the Tenno Lab, head for the console, and open up the menu. Scroll down the list to Wukong, and you can purchase his blueprints for 15,000 Credits for each component, and 35,000 Credits for the main Blueprint. After that, it’s a 12 hour build time in your Foundry for each component, then three days for the overall Warframe. You are going to need some ingredients to bake this cookie, however. You can find the resources you will need listed below;

  • 15,000 Credits
  • 1400 Circuits
  • 1 Neural Sensor
  • 2600 Polymer Bundle
  • 2 Nitain Extract

  • 15,000 Credits
  • 1 Morphics
  • 900 Ferrite
  • 50 Rubedo
  • 4 Nitain Extract

  • 15,000 Credits
  • 2 Argon Crystal
  • 2 Neurodes
  • 8000 Salvage
  • 4000 Plastids

While you do need 2 Argon Crystals, they are not difficult to get; you need to grind missions in the Void until they drop for you. The Nitain Extract might be the issue, as you can only get those from Nightwave rewards now. You need to do Challenges for Nora Night to earn Nora Credits, then use these to buy the Nitain Extract from the offerings page.

And that it, you now know how to get Wukong and everything you need to build him. Best of luck, Tenno!
