When Scholar and Legends Meet is a Stage II Lantern Rite Tale in Genshin Impact. For this quest, you will need to help Soraya investigate an old legend that has caught her interest.
Teleport to Mt. Tianheng and then meet Soraya at the waypoint. She will tell you about a legend of a Yahska that fought beside Rex Lapis, and will ask you to get a soil sample from the top of the mountain. The legend says that the warrior used their antlers to stop the mountain from collapsing during a battle, so Soraya thinks this will have affected the soil somehow.
Climb up to the new waypoint, take out the Slimes that will appear, and then grab the soil sample. Return to Soraya and she will say that there is nothing particularly special about the soil there. She will then want to explore the top of the mountain, so travel up to the new waypoint.
There will be some Hilichurls that you need to take out, so kill them all and then speak with Soraya again. This quest is basically a lore dump about the old Yahska, and is not very difficult to complete.
When you have finished the quest, you will receive 30 Primogems, 20000 Mora, and 100 Festive Fever.
