Evolution Stones are hugely crucial in Pokémon Sword and Shield. You use them to evolve certain Pokémon into their various forms, and if you want to fill your Pokédex, you will need quite a few of them. While the Evolution Stones can be found scattered all over the map, there is a place where you can find a lot of them in one go. The best news? They will respawn after a given period, allowing you to farm the area for Evolution Stones.

At the Lake of Outrage in the Wild Area, which can be found on your map between Route 5 and Route 6, there is a collection of massive rocks that make up a monument. An item can spawn at the foot of each rock that makes up the monument, and these items can be Evolution Stones.

The items appear to respawn daily, allowing you to farm Evolution Stones quite easily. In the video embedded above, you can see us get a range of different Evolution Stones from the area.

You will need to have the Roton bike upgrade that allows it to travel on the water to reach the Lake of Outrage, and you get this by finishing the sixth Gym Challenge. This is by far the easiest way to collect these essential items that we have managed to find in the game so far.

If you need more help with Pokémon Sword and Shield, we have a range of guides that you might find useful. From how to use the PC Box Link, how to change a Pokemon’s nature, and how to trade Pokémon. If you are looking for some of the rarer Pokémon, we can show you where to find Dreepy and Ditto, as well.
