One of the best Gwent cards in The Witcher 3 is the Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon hero card. Being a hero card, it cannot be impacted by any other cards played, and the attack value of 15 puts it tied for the highest attack value of any Gwent card in the game. This makes adding the Ciri Gwent card to your deck a big deal if you hope to win against tougher opponents.
Ciri Gwent Card
The Ciri Gwent card is earned through the Gwent: Big City Players quest. This will require Geralt to win four Gwent matches, with Ciri being the final reward. The opponents and the rewards that each opponent will give are as follows.
- Vimme Vivaldi – Vesemir
- Marquise Serenity – Morvran Voorhis
- Sigismund Dijkstra – Esterad Thyssen
- Scoia’tael Merchant – Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon
To start this quest, you can approach Vimme Vivaldi in Hierarch Square, the main square in all of Novigrad. The option will be there to play him and, when you beat him, he’ll advise you on other players to challenge. This should immediately let you approach and challenge Marquise Serenity at the Passiflora. Beat her and you might run into an odd situation. The quest disappeared for me. It was no longer found when I went through my list of quests, nor did it show completed. Don’t fret, it works itself out.
Once you get the card from Marquise Serenity, just go about the main quest line in The Witcher 3. This will eventually lead you to a quest called Broken Flowers, which takes you to Sigismund Dijkstra. He will give you a quest called Count Reuven’s Treasure. After speaking with Dijkstra about what you found in his cellar, you should be able to speak to him and resume Gwent: Big City Players. Beat Sigismund Dijkstra, then you can head to and play the Scoia’tael Merchant south of Novigrad. Beat them and the card is yours.
The Ciri Gwent Card is equal to the Geralt of Rivia Gwent card in every way, but you can get it much earlier in the game. Both are neutral cards, so you can add them to any deck that you build, regardless of the faction you’re hoping to play with.
