Lots of new details have been confirmed for Gearbox’s upcoming Borderlands 3! The release date, details on the new characters, and full details on the Deluxe Editions all await you in this article.

With a single tweet from the official Borderlands Twitter account, we now know the release date for Borderlands 3. Set to release on September 13 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, there will also be global gameplay reveal on May 1. To watch the new trailer, just click on the video below.

We also have some information on the new characters that you will be playing as!

  • Moze the Gunner – capable of calling in help from a massive mech named Iron Bear.
  • Amara the Siren – a brawler who can sprout extra arms when she needs more fists to punch things with.
  • Fl4k the Beastmaster – can command loyals beasts to join him on his hunt.
  • Zane the Operative – can utilize all kinds of gadgets to bring death and destruction to his enemies.

In the role of these new Vault hunters, you will be going head to head with the Calypso Twins, who are trying to unite all the different groups of bad guys to take the treasures of the Vault for themselves.

Borderlands 3 Standard Edition

This comes with the base game, and also has a pre-order bonus of Gold weapon skins and a weapon trinket for $59.99.

Borderlands 3 Deluxe Edition

The Deluxe Edition comes with the base game, the Retro Cosmetic Pack, Neon Cosmetic Pack, Gearbox Cosmetic Pack, Toy Box Weapon Pack, XP and Loot Drop Boost Mods, and finally those same pre-order skins from the standard edition for $79.99

Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition

Includes the base game, all the bonus content and pre-order options as the Deluxe Edition, and the Season Pass that includes four campaign DLC packs, and a Butt Stallion weapon skin, weapon trinket, and grenade mod for $119.99.
