Borderlands 3 reveal trailer has some morse code hidden in it, and Reddit fans might’ve already discovered its purpose.

As reported by PCGamesN, the code is apparently hinting at the return of the original game’s final boss in the newest chapter.

This would make particular sense as Gearbox has remade the final boss fight from the first Borderlands in the Game of the Year Edition remaster.

Why would you bother to make that extra work on that specific portion of the game if you’re not meant to take it back to another title of yours?

The morse code found by fans reports two different questions: “Where is the first vault hunter?” and “Who is the Destroyer?”.

As said, the Destroyer is the final boss in the original game, and the fact it gets mentioned in the trailer could mean it’s returning for Borderlands 3.

The first question is not as clear, but it could be a hint at the fact that the first vault hunter became that… the thing in ancient times and we’re getting to unravel that mystery in Borderlands 3.

That would be rather neat, although it’s all but confirmed. Check the video below for more information on the topic.
