DICE Awards 2018 winners were announced today. Nintendo’s Breath of the Wild took home the GOTY award. Other big winners were Cuphead, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and Horizon Zero Dawn.
DICE Awards 2018 have been signed & delivered last evening, and as widely foreseeable The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild won all the most relevant prizes, together of course with the Game of the Year award.
Breath of the Wild won in total 4 awards, the biggest one: game design, game direction, best adventure and game of the year. Horizon: Zero Dawn also won big, grabbing prizes for its technical achievement and story achievement.
Cuphead won two prizes, including art direction and animation, same as PUBG (best action game and best online experience), while Metroid: Samus Returns was elected best handheld game and Nier: Automata was the best RPG in 2017.
