Not a bad deal.

Recent Fortnite leaks have let the cat out of the bag, and it seems the next stage of the Fortnite and Disney collaboration will involve Disney+. According to some leaked data strings for a Fortnite x Disney+event, purchasing V-Bucks or making any real money buy in the Item Shop will get you 2 free months of Disney+.

No start date is given, but the deal lasts until December 31, according to the leak. It is also important to note that this doesn’t include simply spending V-Bucks; you’ll need to either purchase fresh V-Bucks or buy one of the real money bundles that appear in the Item Shop.

The Fortnite x Marvel season has been a massive success for Epic Games and Disney, so it would seem that this is the next step in their collaborative efforts. It is quite the offer, potentially netting people access to Disney+ over the Christmas period, which might make any potential lockdowns easier to deal with.

Disney+ is Disney’s streaming service, housing their movies and various TV series, including the hugely successful Mandalorian. If you have Disney+ in your area and haven’t been able to purchase it, this might be your chance to watch one of the year’s best TV shows.

At the moment, this is just a leak, but it is likely to be formally announced in the next couple of days, as Epic seems to be pretty carefully these days about giving huge lead time to leakers when it comes to news like this.
