More details about the upcoming Spider-Man game are starting to drop as we get closer and closer to the release date. The latest are about how many hours we’ll be required to complete the main story, and others.
As revealed by community director at Insomniac Games James Stevenson, Spider-Man’s main story has required the “average play tester” around 20 hours, although it’s already known that side quests and collateral activities will rise the amount of play time quite a lot higher.
“Our average play tester took around 20 hours on default difficulty, but some spent a lot longer if they did a ton of side quests/activities,” he told a follower on Twitter.
On top of that, Stevenson revealed that the PS4 exclusive is coming with a day one patch on September 7, which will add, among the other things, accessibility options for the players.
Also, the size of the game will be starting from around 45 GB, “probably a bit more,” which will more or less slightly change when downloaded together with the aforementioned day one patch “and stuff.”
It’s worth mentioning that the press members are already playing the title and will start posting their reviews from September 4, so three days before the official release.
