Spider-Man has had a really big presence between E3 2018, San Diego Comic-Con and Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong, with lots of details that have slipped from gameplay demos and videos we’ve watched from home.
Now we have something more, as the opening movie and the very first minutes of gameplay have popped up on the Internet and are available for you to watch ahead of the launch on PlayStation 4.
The opening movie itself is really nice and close to what you’d expect from a regular super-hero title, and it also reveals some details on the story and the easter eggs we’ll find across it.
As spotted on Reddit, Peter Parker’s room has several post-its on the wall and among them there’s one which says “Call T.S. back; re job offer.” Insomniac Games has already made it clear that there won’t be Avengers in the title, but that looks like it is at least a nice easter egg about Tony Stark/Iron Man, doesn’t it?
Anyway, being it in the very first few moments in the story, the off-screen gameplay video also offers a look at how it looks and feels to play with the classic Spider-Man suit (not the one with the white logo, that we’ll unlock in a later stage).
Spider-Man is dropping on September 7 for PS4.
