Trials of Osiris in Destiny 2 has been canceled again, and here is why

So many people saw this coming.

Trials of Osiris went live for the first time since the release of Beyond Light today. Unfortunately, it only stayed live for a few minutes before Bungie pulled the plug until next week.

Why? The rumor mill is spinning, with many people saying this is related to a game-breaking glitch with the Titan’s Behemoth class. What exactly is the bug? There are actually two different bugs to choose from.

Up first, the radar won’t work on the Behemoth class, under certain circumstances. That may not seem like the biggest deal in the world, but in PvP, especially top tier PvP like Trials, you are basically losing one of your senses. The bug has been known about for around 24 hours now.

Secondly, a bug that allows Titans to go invisible and shoot people through the map has been haunting PvP for a while now. Because the Warlock Stasis class needed to be nerfed into the ground, that got priority instead of fixing the whole invisible Titan issue, and here we are.

It’s poor from Bungie if we are honest. These are known issues that have been in the game for a while now, and going ahead with five minutes of Trials before shutting it down again is just a poor experience for people who have been working hard to get their Power level up to be competitive in Trials.

We’ll be keeping an eye on things, but at this point, the idea of Trials going live next week seems more like hope than fact.
