God of War (PS4) offers 4 difficulty settings including Give Me God of War mode, but still, there is massive demand for New Game Plus (NG+) mode from the fans, and it is getting bigger and bigger with each passing day. Is Santa Monica Studio and Cory Barlog listening?
God of War is filled with content and, while Santa Monica Studio has already made it clear that it won’t be adding more with DLC and season passes, players still have a good number of requests on that topic.
Among the most requested things, we can surely find a New Game + mode, which the game is currently lacking in favor of a different approach that lets you keep playing the same game in order to complete all the secondary activities on the map.
As of now, once you do everything the map has to offer, the only thing left for you to do – if you’re still keen into keep playing the PS4 exclusive action adventurer – is to focus on the highest difficulty level called “Give Me God of War“.
As we said in a specific news, the Give Me God of War mode offers unique rewards which currently you can’t get anywhere else, but that comes at the cost of a huge rise in difficulty that can result into instakills from much stronger enemies than the norm.
The request for a New Game + or New Game Plus mode is higher and higher as players keep finishing the title under all the possible perspectives. You can look at the amount of Reddit threads and social posts on the matter to just have an idea of how much anticipated is a patch about this and solely this.
A Reddit thread that only got up 20 hours ago, by the user TheNamesFeeley, has already achieved 2.8K upvotes (and counting), making it clear once again that the community really wants this feature to be added in a feature patch.

Currently, Santa Monica Studio has only planned a brand new Photo Mode, which is coming soon as part of a new free patch. Whether it’ll come with something else attached to it, that’s still something we’ll have to wait and learn.
