The Goblin King questline is one of the most tedious questlines in The Forge, but you’ll need to do it in order to unlock all the areas as well as finish one other quest. The Forge Goblin King Quests Walkthrough
Tip: It is best to wait until you obtain a pickaxe that can mine Basalt Vein nodes (78+ Mine Power) before trying to complete the Goblin King questline.
Goblin King quests in The Forge require you to deliver a specific amount of money and rare ores to the Goblin King, which can be found by following the road south from the Enhancer and Rune Maker NPCs in the Forgotten Kingdom. Here is how to complete each of the Goblin King quests:
- Goblin King 1 Quest
Deliver 5,000 Gold to the Goblin King. (You can obtain gold coins by selling forged items and other materials to specific NPCs in each world).
- Goblin King 2 Quest
Deliver 10,000 Gold and 3 Topaz Ores to the Goblin King. (Topaz Ores [1/143] drop from Basalt Core, Basalt Vein, and Volcanic Rock mining nodes).
- Goblin King 3 Quest
Deliver 15,000 Gold and 5 Diamond Ores to the Goblin King. (Diamond Ores [1/192] drop from Basalt Core and Basalt Vein mining nodes).
- Goblin King 4 Quest
Deliver 20,000 Gold and 5 Emerald Ores to the Goblin King. (Emerald Ores [1/363] drop from Basalt Core and Basalt Vein mining nodes).
- Let’s Get Over It! Quest
Deliver 25,000 Gold and 5 Ruby Ores to the Goblin King. (Ruby Ores [1/487] drop from the Basalt Vein mining nodes).
Total Requirements: You need 75,000 Gold, 3 Topaz Ores, 5 Diamond Ores, 5 Emerald Ores, and 5 Ruby Ores to finish the Goblin King questline in The Forge.
The Forge Goblin King Quest Rewards
Each of the Goblin King quests will reward you with a large amount of XP, usually enough for you to gain at least one level. As a reward from the last quest, “Let’s Get Over It!”, you will obtain the Goblin Cave Key, which you can use on a door to the right of the Goblin King’s throne to gain access to the Goblin Cave area. Here, you can farm Slimes for Essences and the Epic Slimite ore, and mine various types of Crystals with great forging multipliers.
The Forge Tomo’s Cat Location
The Goblin Cave is where you can find Tomo’s Cat, which is needed for one of the first quests you can take in The Forge (in Stonewake’s Cross). The cat is located inside a waterfall, behind a fake wall in the back. By completing Tomo’s quest, you will be rewarded with ~20,000 Gold and several levels’ worth of XP.

Not really, since you can’t mine Ruby ore, which is needed for the last quest, without a decent pickaxe. So, don’t waste your hard-earned gold coins on trying to complete the Goblin King quests until you obtain a pickaxe that can mine Basalt Veins (78+ Mine Power).
Is the Goblin Cave a good area to grind in?
Goblin King can be a very good farming spot since not many players have access to it. Farming Slimes and selling their drops for gold coins is one of the best coin farming methods in the game. However, mining here can be quite inefficient if you are unlucky with the crystal node spawns.
Where is Tomo’s Cat in The Forge?
You can find Tomo’s Cat in The Forge by passing through a fake wall located inside the small waterfall in the Goblin Cave area.
