Rifts are mini portals in Fortnite Battle Royale Season 5, that offers you a temporary escape by launching you in the sky where you have to plan your landing.
Fortnite Battle Royale new season brings many new things in the game. Rifts are one of them, a shiny object that can spawn on random location. Sometimes it can be hard to locate them, Rifts can help you to escape a situation intently. For example, if you are stuck in a fight and want to run away, if you have a Rift around you can grab it and you will spawn back in the sky. All Rift Locations
Locations below are the one who is sighted by our players, Rifts usually appear randomly on the map.
You can begin to locate them in the center of the map, if you are somewhere in the middle then you can locate it in the west side of Dusty Divot. Look on the mountains, one more will possibly spawn in the far north-east corner of the map. Look on the east of Risky Reels.
You can find a few more of them on the tall ledge that is lying between the new desert area at the Lucky Landing part of the map. Go the east side and look for a pagoda. It is located on the northeast side of Lucky Landing. Just search the area where next to the truck that is hanging off the ledge. You can locate a rift there.
How Rifts Work
It is more like a jump pad, once you have it you will be launched in the air above it. So it is pretty useful to scout the area and to find out if there is any player hiding in the area. It will save a lot of your time traveling around the terrain. It is important to plan your landing or else you might land into a wrong area where more enemies are waiting for you.
