In this part of Far Cry 5: Lost On Mars Walkthrough, you can get tips on two locations Midnight Mountain Antenna and Midnight Mountain Mine.
In the last part Transference Center, after upgrading Hurk, you have to move ahead for the next antenna. You will activate Midnight Mountain Antenna first and get a map that will take you to Midnight Mountain Mine. Where after fixing the robot the AI will give you new Antenna’s to fix. You will also fight with Queen Boss to collect Energy Cores.
Midnight Mountain Antenna
The objective of this part is simple, you just have to activate an antenna.
Reach The Antenna
Follow the marker to access the next antenna. The path is pretty straightforward you have to avoid the sand and shoot down the alien creatures in your path. While moving look around for the creatures, they can attack from any corner. You have to climb up all the way above a mountain, to reach the antenna. Once you reach near you will see Crabmones. You can harvest Arachnid Pulp by interacting with Queen Eggs and you can use the pulps on the creatures similar to a grenade. Once you throw it on any of the creature, that will be attacked by other Arachnids.
Restore Power of the Antenna
So this will save your time, clear the area and then climb up. Use the floating platforms to reach on the top. Interact with the console to activate the antenna. You can also craft weapon and items from here. This will complete this chapter of Far Cry 5: Lost On Mars.
Midnight Mountain Mine
In this part of the game you have to access a mine that is infested by Queen, it is the boss of this chapter.
Go To Mine
Before moving craft a bigger weapon like a rifle. Then follow the marker that will take you to the mine. You can jump from the top and use the gravity belt to move faster towards the marker. There are Queens hidden in the mines and you can lure them out by destroying the Eggs and Nest. The one that you saw before to harvest the pulp. Once you reach near the mine, the AI will warn you about the Queen and Eggs.
Destroy Eggs and Nest, Kill Arachnids
Once you move near the cave face you will see a lot of creatures around. You have to clear this area first. So start with the ones who are outside, kill them all to clear the area first. Once done shoot down the eggs in the caves. Go inside only if you had killed all the creatures outside, if you got stuck on the cave mouth those crabs can hunt you easily. Once you destroy the eggs the queen will spawn.
How to defeat Queenie Boss Fight:
Queenie’s melee attack are poisonous, if you get attacked then it will deplete energy from your weapon and gravity belt. So you have to take care that you maintain a good distance. In between attack, the Queen will try to burrow in sand, attack the eggs and nest to pull her out. The best way to avoid her attack is find a higher platform and attack from cover. She will not jump towards you, don’t stay on the ground. Once find her releasing poison hide a while. Queenie is slow, but other creatures around can be annoying. You will see the health bar on top of her, keep attacking her and command the drone to keep the queen engaged. Side by side do keep a watch on smaller ones, otherwise, you will lose health fast. If you can get aim on the backside of the glowing part then it is easier to kill her. Once you kill the queen the remaining creatures around will run away and for a short while you can walk on the sand. After killing her if you want you can play Queen Challenge where you have to kill 14 more, or you can continue with the main story.
The final thing you have to do is loot the dead queen, you will get Energy Cores, Hemoleum and Queens Heart. Queen’s heart is a powerful weapon that will appear in the wheel, once you throw it will create a zone where all Arachnids will start attacking each other.
Reboot The Terminal
Follow the next marker that will lead you to the terminal, reboot it and this chapter is over. You will also unlock the Bulldozer Shotgun, it will cost you 2300 to craft. Check the map and you will see more antennas. You have to activate all these one by one. As you activate more new antennas will appear on the map.
