Dead Living Zombies is the third and final DLC for Far Cry 5. The DLC is out that offers players a few hours of gameplay where they will be fighting with zombies. After clearing each map you will unlock Score Attack mode, and if you get a 3-star rating you also get weapons and gears that you can use in the story mode. Overall there are seven missions you have to play with a similar objective.
Dead Living Zombies Walkthrough
The game begins with a short intro where a B-movie director Guy Marvel is talking about a script. The chapters are divided into this narrated scenario where you will play in first person view.
Mission 1 – Fields Of Terror
After the top-secret military plane crashes on a wheat farm you will see a cargo of dead soldiers comes to life as zombie-soldiers. There are large containers with an exposed glass tube. These are called mutation stations. You will have to destroy it, it the glowing gas from it will create more zombies. You will start with a double-barrel shotgun, you can also pick the medpack and baseball bat on the porch. Walk straight, follow the yellow lights and look on right. You will find a rifle and some ammunition on a crate.
Once you reach the first mutant station, shoot down the zombies around. Clear them first and then shoot the glowing glass capsules on the station. A headshot will kill the zombie in one bullet. Go another one, and on your way near the flag, you will find some more ammos and a rifle. Here you won’t face many challenges, walk towards the third on the left side. Keep looking around for crates for upgrades. Next, you will reach a place with a lot of fire around, here you will be facing a new type of zombie. If you shoot him in the head it will explode. It will also damage you, so do that from a distance. Destroy the glass tubes and then go the second last station on the right of the crashed plane. Here you will be fighting with Zombie Wolves. Turn around and look in front of the crashed plane for the last one inside a shed. Kill the final station completes the mission.
Mission 2 – Burned Bridges
The next mission takes on a bridge, where you will be playing as member of special-ops team fighting with zombies on a dilapidated bridge. You have to fight your way towards the others-side of the bridge for ammo drop. Walk straight and then climb over the green bus, you will face the first wave of zombies next. Walk towards the fire and you will get a rifle. Turn around and go left, cross the metal gate and go straight towards the second to fight the second wave of enemies. The third one is just ahead over the fallen goo, you will see mutation stations all around. First, take down the zombies and then target the mutation station. After destroying them cross wall left and you will reach a burning bridge. Jump over the cars to move ahead. You will see a flipped gas tanker you will have to shoot it with a machine gun. The gun is located on the corner just as you jump from the last bus.
Once you reach the first mutant station, fight with the third wave of enemies. Next, you will be jumping on fallen red containers. Use the grapple hook to climb up. A few more zombies will spawn ahead of you. On your left, there is a room where you will get some medkits and ammos. Keep walking ahead and few more zombies will come from the right. Go to the last train compartment and now you will be fighting inside. Stay at one place and shoot the zombies. The path to the exit is on the right and a huge wave of burning zombies will come. Shoot the cylinders to create a explosion and target multiple enemies. Walk left and cross the stairs. Climb the bus and you will reach the ammo drop. you will get some guns here.
Defeat Sasquatch Zombie:
You will be facing the first boss of Dead Living Zombies DLC. It is a strong one who can pick up and throw cars. you have to maintain a goo distance from this one. It will jump towards you and attack you with a swing. It can also bash his hand hard on the ground that can cause huge damage. It is not really hard to kill.
After killing it go extreme left to move further, you will reach a gun machine with a locked path. Now you will be fighting a big wave of zombies here, so take the machine gun and spray bullets on them. This will continue for some time, if you found yourself surrounded run away from the place. Last you will see a check point, which ends the chapter.
Mission 3 – Undying Love
The third mission takes you a world of Romeo and Juliet infested with zombies. Romeos’ gang is not happy with him and they put him in a coffin and buried him alive. His crime was falling in love, Juliet on the other side is all set to save him. You will be running through a grave yard. As you enter you will first wave of zombies. You have to reach the church. Shoo the burning zombies from distance. After facing a few waves of zombies you will reach the church stairs. There are some ammos and armor on the end after the stairs.
Refill things and then go straight and you will spot Behemoths. The big zombies who will throw puss on you. There are other zombies also around. There are ample of place to hide around, so if you see yourself surrounded just run to get a safe spot and shoot. The Behemoth has more health compare to other zombies and it will follow you, keep shooting on the head and go far away. It will explode twice, first when it falls on the ground an second when you shoot on the back hump.
Keep moving ahead and you will reach a place with mutation stations around. There will be a lot of zombies in the area, you have to target both of them side by side. You can run around to escape from zombies for a while, and then shoot them down. The chase will only end once you destroy the mutation station.
Use scaffolding to climb up on the church. From the top Juliet will spot the coffin, you will be using a sniper rifle to kill the gang members. Clear all the gang members and then go down. A few more will appear on the ground. Don’t use a sniper here, use a rifle or a shotgun. You have to kill them and rescue Romeo in the end.
Mission 4 – Escape From The Rooftop
The next mission take place in the year 2080. The entire mission will be on the rooftop of some buildings around. You will start with a different weapon this time, a pistol. Walk ahead, jump down and take the second left and you will get a SMG on a table. Pick that and go straight up, kill the wave of zombies. Walk toward the end on your left you will spot a room with lots of roof light and cylinder. You will get ammos there. Walk to the right, don’t go down and on your right, you will find another table with a rifle. There are these tables all around the corner, just look for the flag. Kill the zombies around, you will see a target on the top left, you have to kill 99999 zombies.
A lot of time of this mission will be just killing the zombies who are chasing to get a chomp of your flesh. You have to run around to the corners to find the tables with ammos and weapons. A high powered machine gun will spawn and you have to take that and shoot in a straight line to kill the entire mob of zombies. Target the red barrels around to cause an explosion. Once done exit the machine gun because you have to fight with Zombie Wolverines. This tiny creatures can’t be killed with the machine gun and they are pretty fast. Just run away and find a high spot to climb, like a chimney or table. Then shoot them. You can use the flamethrower here to clear up things fast. Search for ammos around and go further down to the rooftop where you will be fighting with Vulturez gang. Kill them all to finish the mission.
Mission 5 – Killer Climate
New mission will take place at National Park. A strange ooze is turning people to zombies. A Park Ranger here the scream of a family and decides to check it. So you start with a tower and go all the way to down, look for wolves around. Next, take some ammos and a bow from the table on your right. Walk straight and turn right. As you reach the bridge you will be attacked by zombie wolves. You will have to climb up on the mountain, look for blue ropes and climb up from there. Use the grapple hook to go up and then swing to jump on the platform ahead of you. Turn around and cross the wooden platform and you will see more ropes to climb. Once again use the grappling hook to swing ahead and reach on the last platform. There is a table just before you jump into the river.
Swim out and follow the blood marks on the ground. You will find it on the left side as you cross the river. You will have to fight with Zombie Bear and Zombie Moose. After killing the animals keep moving and kill a few dogs. You will reach a village where you will fight with a group of zombies. Follow the lake on your left and you will see the mutation station. Before destroying it you have to kill the zombies. On the next marker, you spot the family who is turn into a zombie. You will have to kill them all. Take the machine gun from the bench after killing them and walk towards the parked truck. Climb the blue iron stairs on the right to go on the other side.
Defeat Blood Dragon Boss:
A dragon will spawn, wait for the machine gun to appear. Collect the gun and shoot the dragon. He is pretty powerful, along with the dragon there will be zombies. So you kill them first and then you can garget the dragon. You have to watch-out for the sonic type blast that can cause high damage and knock you down. Look for the blue smoke around where you can find bullets. Once the dragon dies to follow the marker and you will reach a car. This completes the mission.
Mission 6 – The Fast And The Fiendish
This one is the second last mission that take place on a beach. The hero is the best chemist in the world and he is infected. So the objective is to find a cure before he turns into a zombie. As you begin you don’t have any weapon with you. There will be a timer on the top, keep running and watch the markers on the screen. That marker will show where the zombies here, you have to follow the marker that will take you a car. Drive it to the lab. There will be Behemoth zombies in your way, avoid them if you crash into them it will explode. Follow the maker, avoid the cars they will waste your time. Cross the tunnel and stop at the road block. There will be soldiers who will try to kill you, on the right of the road black there is a weapon. Take that and walk towards the hospital. Enter the laboratory and keep moving till you reach inside the hospital. This is where the mission is over.
Mission 7 – Laboratory Of The Dead
This one is the final and last mission of Dead Living Zombies. It take place in a top secret lab. The president calls a hero to look into the matter. You will have a rifle at the beginning. There are enough ammos around, take the jetski and go towards the lab. You will reach a pipe with zombie bee hives, keep moving till you reach the lab. Kill the zombies and go inside. Inside the bunker, there will be a lot of blood. Follow the marker and on your left look for a red barrel, shoot it and open the path. Shoot from distance, jump down. You have to fight a behemoth ahead, use the barrels to cause a explosion. Walk to the end climb up using the hook on the left. A zombie wolves will attack you.
You will reach a room that has a lot of experiments around. Cross the secret lab and shoot the barrel on the left corner to open up the path ahead. You will be facing a wave of enemies, ahead on the right side. Use the barrels, to kill multiple zombies at once. Once you are done dealing with the wave walk ahead for the second one. You will reach a locker room filled with blood. This will turn into a weapon locker, pick a new gun and move ahead.
A machine gun will be a good choice here, you will reach a mutation station that is located in the center of the room with lot of zombies around. Shoot the glass tubes, there will be lot of enemies. Walk towards the door with green light, it will take you down and jump into the yellow zombie making goo. Climb from the right look for blue rope. To destroy this place just shoot down the red cylinders. That’s it the mission is over.
