All 40 Fish and where to find them in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5

Fishing time.

Fish are back once again in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5, and can be found in different locations all around the map. Certain fish will only spawn in certain conditions, at certain locations, or may only be caught with the Pro Fishing Rod, so we have broken out the various fish by region and listed any special requirements beside them.

There are even some new fish this season, like the Zero Point Fish, so you veteran fisherfolk shouldn’t assume that you have seen every strange aquatic creature that Fortnite can throw at you.

You can check which types of fish you have caught in the collections tab by clicking on “Quests” on the Play screen. You can find the collections for fish, and all the character NPCS, there.

The best way to catch these fish is in the Battle Lab. Set your weapons to Explosive, and the time to Night. You will need to loot the barrels to get a Pro Fishing Rod to make sure you can catch all the fish.
