Days Gone: Release Time And Date

Crazy Willie's Infestation

Days Gone is nearly upon us. Gas up the bike, and put on your best road leathers, because we get to play in the zombie apocalypse very soon.

Days Gone will put us in the shoes of Deacon St. John as we try to survive in a brutal post-apocalyptic world. Scavenge through abandoned settlements for equipment to craft valuable items and weapons, or take your chances with other survivors trying to eke out a living through fair trade or more violent means.

Days Gone Release Date And Time

Days Gone will be releasing on April 26th. It should be available to play at midnight on the 25th, in the traditional “midnight opening” that many games still adopt. It would seem that this is a regional thing, so once it hits midnight, wherever you are, you should be able to play the game.

If you have pre-ordered the game on the PlayStation Store, you will be able to check the count down timer in your Library.

Days Gone Pre-load

The pre-load option is already available for those who have pre-ordered the game on the PlayStation Store. Just power up your PS4 and check your Library, and you will have the option to pre-load the game.

Days Gone Download Size

Days Gone clocks in at a very healthy 67GB download size, so you might want to take advantage of that pre-load option if you can. There will also be a 17GB update to the game, although this should download in conjunction with the main game.

Can You Still Pre-Order The Game?

The game can still be pre-ordered on the PlayStation Store if you want to take advantage of the pre-load option, and avail of the Pre-Order Bonuses. I can’t really say if you can still pre-order in your local store, as that will largely depend on how many pre-orders they have already received, and the availability of the product in that particular store.
