EA has introduced the Road to the Final card set to FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, which is designed to highlight a number of players who have been excelling in their team during their Champions League campaign. While the Team of the Week set is for domestic team results, this set will provide some much-deserved exposure to top performances in Europe for teams looking good for the knockout stages.
One player can be obtained through a Squad Builder challenger, with Chelsea Midfielder Mason Mount featured in that challenge this week. The other player can be obtained through completing challenges, and that player is Sevilla’s 21-year-old French center-back Jules Koundé. With two wins and a draw from their first three games, the Spanish side sits comfortably in second place among their group.
Koundé has been a big part of that team, and he will be very desirable in La Liga teams with 80 pace, which is vital for countering the current pace meta.
These are the objectives that you need to complete in order to unlock a copy of the card, along with the rewards for completing them:
- Swift Scorer – Score 4 Finesse goals using LaLiga players in the Live FUT Friendly: RTTF Classic, with at least 8 LaLiga players in your starting squad.
- Reward: 1x Gold pack + 300 XP
- Launching forward – Assist 5 goals using LaLiga Defenders in the Live FUT Friendly: RTTF Classic, with at least 8 LaLiga players in your starting squad.
- Reward: 1x 75+ rated rare player pack + 300 XP
- Linking LaLiga – Assisting in 15 separate matches using LaLiga players in the Live FUT Friendly: RTTF Classic, with at least 8 LaLiga players in your starting squad.
- Reward: 1x Small Electrum players pack + 300 XP
- Scoring in Spain – Score 12 goals using LaLiga players in the Live FUT Friendly: RTTF Classic, with at least 8 LaLiga players in your starting squad.
- Reward: 1x Premium Gold Pack + 300 XP
- Winning Ways – Win 10 matches in the Live FUT Friendly: RTTF Classic, with at least 8 LaLiga players in your starting squad.
- Reward: 1x Electrum Players pack + 300 XP
All rewards are untradeable, so you won’t be able to put any of the rewards through them on the transfer market. Due to the Linking LaLiga objective, it will require you to play at least 15 matches in order to complete them all, and it must be completed in the featured Road to the Final Classic FUT friendly mode. The objectives will not count in any other mode. You will also need at least three Champions League player set cards in your team, which are blue otherwise the same as the standard cards.
After finishing all objectives, you can then claim your final rewards, which will include a further 300 XP and your Road to the Final Jules Koundé card. The objective challenge is available for 14 days.
