How to get the Telesto Catalyst in Destiny 2

Get it while you can.

With various pieces of Destiny 2 content headed to the Content Vault this September, it is time to grab whatever you still need from various Raids, Strikes, and open-world areas before they are gone.

One such item is the Telesto Catalyst. This Catalyst will give your Telesto Exotic Fusion Rifle a little more power in the form of increased ammo reserves, while the weapons trademark bubble popping damage will become even greater as you will be able to do it more.

The bad news is that the Telesto Catalyst can only be gotten from the Prestige Eater of Worlds Raid. You will need to get to the “Ring Chest,” as players call it, and for most people, you will need a full Raid team to do this.

Fortunately, noted Destiny 2 Youtuber and all-around wizard Esoterickk exists, and he doesn’t really care for Raid teams. Why use six people to do what a single Esoteickk can do?

Esoterickk has put together the above video, showing you the builds and techniques you will need to glitch your way to the required chest, all on your own. He has broken down the video into three sections, one for each class, so no matter what type of Guardian you play, this video should help you get there.

Now, there is an important point to mention here. Esoterickk is really quite good at Destiny 2, so if you struggle to follow some of his methods here, don’t get too upset. Practice will make perfect, and you should get there eventually, but you can always use an LFG to find other people who are trying to get to this part of the Raid on your platform and get to the chest the traditional way.

It is also worth noting that it is highly like that the Catalyst will get moved to another drop source when Beyond Light arrives in September, so if you want to have faith that Bungie will do that, you can simply wait and grab it from whatever new location it is in when the new expansion drops.
