Burnt Edge Transits are the oddest of all the treats in Destiny 2’s The Dawning. They will be created whenever you use a combination of ingredients that do not make any other snack in the game.
You can only give them to Rahool, but he will give you back 15 Dawning of Essence, the same amount it costs to make them, and 1 Dawning Spirit for them. This makes them a great way to farm that resource, as you can just keep spamming Rahool with overcooked treats to get Dawning Spirit for your challenges.
The best thing about them is there are so many different recipes that will result in Burnt Edge Transits, so you can use any ingredients that you have a lot of to make them.

Because Rahool returns the Essence of Dawning cost each time, you can just quickly make a load of Burnt Edge Transits, then give them to him at the Tower to farm Dawning Spirit.
