This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

You need Marin quite a lot in Link’s Awakening, but she is rarely where you think she will be. In this guide we tell you where to find Marin after she goes to Animal Village.

Marin likes to sing and has a habit of wandering around the island to entertain the various people and animals that live there. After you get her to wake up the Walrus for you, she will make her way to Animal Village, to sing for the animals that live there.

It turns out that Marin set off to try and wake the Wind Fish by singing to it, possibly to see if it would agree to turn her into a seagull, a desire she expressed to Link while they sat on the beach together.

Unfortunately, Marin gets kidnapped by a group of monsters, and they leave her on of the rotting bridges between the Tal Tal Heights. If you make your way to the bridge, you can rescue her with the Hookshot.

Depending on where exactly you are in the game, you can find Marin in the following locations.

  • In Mabe Village – at the start of the game
  • On the beach, all the way to the east – when you need her to wake the Walrus
  • In Animal Village – after waking the Walrus
  • On the bridge between Tal Tal Heights – after getting kidnapped
