In Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern Walkthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2, Dutch and his gang go to Braithwaite’s Mansion to locate kidnapped Jack. The gang has to face a massive army of Braithwaite’s before they can reach the family and interrogate them about the boy.

In the previous mission, A Short Walk in a Pretty Town Arthur and Bill were trapped in Rhodes and attacked by the Sheriff and Gray’s men. They also lost Sean in the fight. The next mission you can play is Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern. To start talking to Dutch in the camp, you will see Jack is missing and all the camp members are worried about the boy.

To earn Gold Medal you have to kill Garth and Gerald Braithwaite by shooting on the head, with this you will need 20 headshots and finish the mission with 85% accuracy without taking any health items.

Head To Braithwaite’s Mansion| Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern

In the camp, you will hear the voice of Dutch talking to all other camp members, while you walk towards them Dutch will ask you whether you had seen Jack. Strauss will inform that Jack is taken away by Braithwaite’s. Dutch will assure Abigail that he will bring his boy back. The gang will start riding towards the Braithwaite’s mansion.


Once you reach near the mansion, dismount your horse and go near Dutch. The gang will start walking inside the mansion. After a short walk, Dutch will call out the people from the manor. He will inquire about the boy and more people will come out.

Kill The Braithwaite’s Men| Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern


Dutch will start shooting, run and hide behind the wagon. The first objective is to kill all the men outside the house, look on the top floors also. They are pretty easy to spot, after killing all follow Dutch. He will tell you to go inside and find Catherine Braithwaite and Jack.

Search Jack Inside The Manor | Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern

Go inside and enter the first room on your left. Inside on your right, you will see two doors, the left one is la ock, break open the right one and be ready to shoot down an enemy inside who is hiding behind a table. After killing him go upstairs, you will see Dutch trying to break the door. Within seconds re-enforcement drives in, hide behind the column and from the balcony shoot down the enemies. Use the pillar to hide, it will protect you from bullets.


After killing ample of them help John to break a door on the end of the balcony. Before breaking the door you will have to kill the men down. There will be a lot of them, after clearing them to be ready to break the room and shoot two men inside. Use Dead Eye instantly to lock them down and shoot them. Dutch will enter from the other side.

Jack’s Location | Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern

In the cutscene, you will see Dutch finds the old lady and he will drag her down. Then he will carry her outside the manor, and she will tell about Jack. She will tell that Catherine Braithwaite’s son has given the boy to Angelo Bronte and they can found him in Saint-Denis. This is the end of this mission, you can read our walkthrough on the final mission of Chapter 3 – The Battle of Shady Belle.
