Crafting Weapons
How To Craft Stone Knife
The first thing you need to craft before making any other item is a stone knife. Stone knife is very useful after spawn and it is also the easiest item to craft. Stone knife can be used for cutting clothes into rags for example – very important step after the spawn. So, let’s get to the actual crafting. It’s very easy to get materials for a stone knife. Basically just go anywhere where the option “Search For Rocks” pops up when you look at the ground. Press “F” and check how many stones have you found, you will need at least two of them to craft a stone knife. Press “TAB” to open your inventory and then navigate to the top and click the “Crafting” option. Search for Stone Knife on the right panel, and then simply click “Craft on the right bottom side of the panel. After you have successfully crafter the Stone Knife, pick it up from the ground by pressing “F” or you can also pick it up from vicinity panel in the inventory mode.
How To Craft Wooden Spear
The second thing you will need to craft right after the spawn is an improvised wooden spear. It can be a very useful weapon if you have no melee weapon and you have a high throwing skill. It also might one-shot the puppet if you hit it in the head. Before you get into crafting a wooden spear, make sure you have the stone knife otherwise, you won’t be able to make a wooden spear! If you have the stone knife already, then find a large bush and choose action “Cut” by pressing “F”. (If it offers you the action “Search first, then hold F to see all the actions.) After you get at least one long wooden stick, craft at least two or three improvised wooden spears in the crafting menu. Remember, you can have 2 spears in your holsters and one in your hands!
How To Craft Courier Backpack
And the third last thing is crafting an Improvised Courier Backpack. This might be useful if you struggle to find any regular backpack. You can kill a puppet with the improvised wooden spear you’ve crafted earlier, or you can cut your own clothes into rags, to get 3 Rags and 5 Rag Stripes – you can cut rags into rag stripes. Create and improvised rope from the rag stripes, then you are ready to craft the improvised courier backpack. Also, make sure that you keep some clean rags for patching wounds, they will be very useful later.
