People are wondering where is the Menagerie in Destiny 2. In this guide we show you how to get there, and what you need to do to play Calus’ new game.
The Season of Opulence in Destiny 2 has brought with it the Menagerie, a new playground for Calus to challenge Guardians. The Menagerie is a new matchmatching activity for six Guardians that pits you against various challenges, followed by a final boss. After you and your group defeat the final boss, you’re going to get a shot at some sweet loot using your Chalice of Opulence.
Where Is The Menagerie In Destiny 2
You can’t just be wandering into the Menagerie, first of all, you need to prove to Calus that you are worthy. To do so, visit Benedict 99-44 in the Tower Annex to start the quest. From there, you need to follow this useful guide to get through it all as quickly as possible. There is nothing particularly tricky about it, but it’s a little bit of a grind if you haven’t already done it. Once you have it completed, you are now able to go on runs in the Menagerie.
Now that you have a Chalice, you can use it in conjunction with Runes that you get for completing various activities in the game. You can also use Imperials to upgrade your Chalice to get better loot. If you don’t know about Runes and Imperials, I would strongly advise you to read the two linked guides and learn all about them.
Now you are ready to head off to the Menagerie. You can find it on Calus’ giant ship, the Leviathan. Just open your Director, go to the Destinations tab, then click on Nessus. Scroll down to the bottom of the map, and you can see Calus’ ship has a new symbol on it that looks like a Chalice. Click on this to be whisked away to the Menagerie and face your first challenge.
The Menagerie is a great way to get your hands on some solid gear, and you’ll have the chance to go after specific loot types you want, as long as you know the recipes for them. Best of luck in there, Guardian!
