Where to find all the different fish in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4

Fishing has undergone quite the change in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4. There are now all kinds of fish to catch, and they will bestow upon you a variety of boons when you eat them. Some heal you, some give you shields, and one of them even gives you thermal vision.

There are now 39 fish in total to catch in the game, and you can even check out your fish collection to see how many of them you have caught.

Eventually, there will be a total of 39 fish to catch, but for we are missing one which could be the rumored Midas Fish.

Fortnite Fishing Locations

Fish that can be found in all locations

  • Black and Blue Shieldfish – consume to gain shields.
  • Blue Flopper – consume to gain health.
  • Blue Slurpfish – consume to gain health or shields.
  • Green Flopper – consume to gain health.
  • Light Blue Small Fry – consume for a small amount of healing.
  • Molten Spicy Fish – consume to gain a speed boost.
  • Orange Flopper – consume to gain health.
  • Purple Top Small Fry – consume for a small amount of healing.
  • Purple and Orange Thermal Fish – consume to gain thermal vision.
  • Silver Thermal Fish – consume for thermal vision, requires Pro Fishing Rod.
  • Slurp Jellyfish – use to give nearby players health and shield.
  • Tan Small Fry – consume for a small amount of healing.
  • Pink Shield Fish – consume to gain shields, require Pro Fishing Rod.
  • Drift Hop Flopper – consume to gain low gravity.
  • Light Blue Shield Fish – consume to gain shields.
  • Dark Vanguard Jellyfish (can only be found at night) – use to give nearby players health and shields.
  • Black Small Fry (can only be found at night) – consume for a small amount of healing.
  • Vendetta Flopper – requires a Pro Fishing Rod.

Coastal areas

  • Black Slurpfish (can only be found at night) – consume for health and shields.
  • Black Striped Shieldfish – consume to gain shields.
  • Chum Hop Flopper – consume to gain low gravity.
  • Purple Jellyfish – use to give nearby players shields and health.
  • Raven Thermal Fish – consume for thermal vision, requires a Pro Fishing Rod.
  • Sky Blue Spicy Fish – consume to gain a speed boost.
  • Blue Small Fry – consume to gain health.

Swamp areas

  • Chinook Hop Flopper – Consume to gain low gravity.
  • Cuddle Jellyfish – use to give nearby players health and shields.
  • Southern Spicy Fish – consume to gain a speed boost.
  • White Slurpfish (can only be found at night) – consume for health or shield, requires Pro Fishing Rod.
  • Yellow Slurpfish – consume for health or shield.

Mountain areas

  • Atlantic Hop Flopper – consume to gain low gravity, requires a Pro Fishing Rod.
  • Peely Jellyfish – use to give nearby players health and shield, requires a Pro Fishing Rod.
  • Purple Slurpfish – consume for health or shield.
  • White Spotted Spicy Fish – consume to gain a speed boost.

Forest areas

  • Coho Hop Flopper – consume for low gravity.
  • Drift Spicy Fish – consume to gain a speed boost.
  • Green Shieldfish – consume for shields.
  • Green Thermal Fish – consume for thermal vision.
  • Red and Green Thermal Fish – consume for thermal vision.
