According to a new report, it looks like Xbox has signed several marketing agreements with several developers and publishers for their (often unannounced) upcoming multi-platform titles. Since all this information can’t be verified, we’ll be labeling it as a rumor for the moment.

Based on Intel reportedly gathered by sources close to Microsoft, Rectify Gaming claims it has managed to learn which games will be signed as Xbox marketing partners throughout the next season in gaming releases.

Xbox Has Marketing Right For Cyberpunk 2077, Battlefield V

Interestingly, the list features some titles that have not been announced yet, like Splinter Cell 2018 – which Ubisoft has said to still love but never provided any clue about a new game in the making –, Battlefield V and Borderlands 3, that instead is confirmed to be in development at Gearbox Software.

On top of that, the reported lineup also features Cyberpunk 2077, that according to previous rumors is going to finally show up at the next E3 in June. Interestingly, the game was rumored to be at the PlayStation media briefing, but that’s not the case at least for Rectify Gaming’s sources, and we all remember a similar deal with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which was only linked to gameplay videos running on Xbox One.

Let’s have a look at the list below:

  • Borderlands 3
  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • Splinter Cell
  • Battlefield V
  • Madden
  • Anthem

Anthem is the only one confirmed thus far, being among the titles that have been showcased at last year’s E3 Xbox media briefing with exclusive gameplay running on Xbox One X.

It is worth noting that analyst Daniel Ahmad has told ResetEra users that, while the list can’t be confirmed at 100%, it looks “pretty much accurate” based on his information and that might even be incomplete; so the definitive one could be even bigger.

We’ll see what happens at E3 this year, and also it will be interesting to understand the nature of each marketing deal (apart from simple showcase and maybe DLC coming first): Splinter Cell Conviction was an Xbox 360 console exclusive back in the days, so could the new iteration coming next year be the new Rise of the Tomb Raider?
