Good news for those among you who are waiting for more Days Gone news and gameplay to come. The PS4 exclusive is said to be in a much better shape now in comparison with the latest, a bit disappointing, exhibition.

As you might remember, the latest coverage was quite discouraging for people who were eagerly anticipating Bend Studio’s action survival open world game, but apparently the additional time the developer was given to further work on it was put at good use.

Senior Gaming, Tech & Media Editor Walmart Canada Paul Hunter has indeed reported that the Tokyo Game Show demo is much more polished in comparison with the Game Informer coverage.

“Very polished. Looked better than the GameInformer coverage,” he clearly said on Twitter. And then he added:

“Cutscenes has great graphics and voice acting. Crafting system seems deep. You can combine supplies to make deadlier weapons like spiked baseball bats. Stealth was satisfying. Lots of Freakers.”

Among the cons that still are in place in the game, “Deacon still looks funny when he runs. Doesn’t do much we haven’t seen in other games,” Hunter said. Sure these are minor issues now.

Days Gone releases February 22, 2019, for PS4.
