Tribeca Film Festival has announced that Hideo Kojima and Norman Reedus will be hosting a panel about Death Stranding.
The panel will be hosted on April 25, 2019, and will be moderated by Kojima’s friend and The Game Awards’ host and producer Geoff Keighley.
“World-renowned auteur game creator Hideo Kojima, widely considered the father of the stealth genre, has been hard at work on the highly anticipated PlayStation 4 title Death Stranding. Little is known about this mysterious new project, and speculation from fans and industry alike have created a deafening excitement,” says the description of the event on the official website.
“To discuss his boundary-pushing new game, Kojima will be joined by the star of Death Stranding, Norman Reedus, best known for his star performances in The Boondock Saints and the acclaimed AMC phenomenon The Walking Dead.”
The core of the panel will have them discussing “pushing the boundaries of the video game medium and their latest collaboration.”
So, while there’s a chance that will learn more about Death Stranding, we wouldn’t be anticipating a new trailer or any other relevant information, like a release date.
The game is rumored to be launching as early as 2019, but chances are it will still require quite a bit more of time before it actually releases for PS4.
