In a Reddit AMA promoting the upcoming movie Artic, Mads Mikkelsen has took some time to discuss Death Stranding.

In particular, he talked about the reaction Kojima Productions and Sony would have in case he provided some details about the game when he shouldn’t.

“I can say a lot,” said Mikkelsen, unexpectedly answering a question by a fan. “But I would get a visit from six strong Japanese guys real fast if I did.”

So, this kind of gives us an idea about why there’s so much secret about what’s going on with Death Stranding at least.

Anyway, the fact that the actor claims he could “say a lot” about it provides us with the impression he’s been constantly informed about the script and what the game is going to be like.

At this moment, we haven’t been provided with a release date nor window, which definitely remains the biggest mystery.

There’s a chance Death Stranding could be coming as soon as 2019, but we’re not holding our breath upon that.
