God of War is quite an old style action adventure game when it comes to secrets and easter eggs to be found by the players themselves along the road, and it seems it still has something to say on that topic.
During a panel at San Diego Comic-Con, indeed, creative director Cory Barlog has revealed there’s still a big easter egg that the community hasn’t managed to discover since day one. And they’ve discovered a lot of them, to be honest.
Barlog even provided some clue about it during the panel, hinting at the possible location being the house of Kratos and Atreus. On top of that, we also got to know that it has something to do with the prequel comic “The Hunt.”
The comic is seemingly having a central role in “the hunt” for the final easter egg, as senior concept artist Joe Kennedy issued a tweet clearly hinting at that. There’s also a link where you can find the comic, which was distributed in person to the attendees at the panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
Of course, we don’t know what the easter egg could be about, and really look forward to seeing the community unraveling the mystery. Perhaps, it could be a link to the sequel that is already in the making at Santa Monica Studio?
