Shiny Lotad and Castform will be available throughout the day as unique rewards.
Niantic has announced the next Pokemon that will be part of its Limited Research Day in Pokémon GO, and it is none other than the Water Weed Pokémon Lotad!
It all kicks off on March 30 from 11 am to 8 pm in your local time zone. When you spin a Pokéstop of Gym, you will be given a Lotad-themed mission that, once completed, will spawn a Lotad for you to try and capture throughout the day.
In some instances, the Lotad that spawns will have a chance at being its shiny variant. This shiny form of Lotad might only be available throughout this event, so its best to get out there and complete as many missions as you can to snag a whole bunch.
The event serves as a great way to get a bunch of EXP and rewards and even get an army of Ludicolo to help you on your quest to take over gyms in your local area. On top of that, Pokemon that could be impacted by weather conditions such as Castform is also set to have increased spawn rates during the event.
So what are you waiting for trainers? Get out there and catch them all!
