Ahead of Tokyo Game Show, which kicks off on September 2018, PlayStation Asia has sent its users a brand new survey about The Last of Us Part II, and that survey is already including a reference to an unannounced Crash Bandicoot game.
The survey is quite generic about The Last of Us Part II itself, asking fans where did they watched the last trailer for the game or if they’re going to buy the upcoming Naughty Dogt title and why.
The section about the games users have played recently is making an unexpected reference to a Crash Bandicoot Racing title, which could be an unannounced game rather than the PSone classic Crash Team Racing.
The other titles in the same section and in the list are indeed all quite recent and most importantly available natively for PlayStation 4, so Crash Team Racing, – again – a classic for the original PlayStation console, doesn’t really belong there.
It could be a simple mistake of course, but even that occurrence could be ruled out if you consider that there’s also Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy in the list, so it’s unlikely there’s been some misunderstanding or typo of sorts.
Activision has already stated it has interesting in fuelling the franchise after the N. Sane Trilogy had a huge and sort of unexpected success on PlayStation 4 last year and then on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC this year.
Could it be pursuing the Mario Kart road on Sony’s console soon?
