Great news for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, as the service is finally now supporting the option to pre-load your titles ahead of their launch.
The first game to be supported by the initiative is Crackdown 3, which is launching on February 2019 for Xbox One and Windows 10.
Anyway, it won’t be the only game to support it, as December’s Mutant Year Zero is going to be pre-loadable in time for the release.
“One of the biggest asks we’ve had for Xbox Game Pass was to allow pre-load (pre-install) so you can download and be ready the second launch happens,” announced Mike Ybarra on Twitter.
“It’s available now – and starts with Crackdown 3 on Xbox and Windows,” Xbox’s corporate vice president added.
As said, this isn’t the sole game to support the pre-load, even though we don’t know whether it’s a matter of games being hand picked from time to time or for every title in the subscription is going to work like this.
Xbox Game Pass has already millions of subscribers – are you a part of the family yet?
