The drum puzzle is the second conundrum you must solve in chapter four of Call of the Sea. It's arguably the toughest puzzle to work out due to the amount of information you're given, so you might be struggling to complete it and progress to chapter five. If you need help, allow us to guide you through it. You come across the drum puzzle's first phase after you complete the hydroelectric generator puzzle. After riding an elevator, you will enter a room with four murals on different walls, a locked door with numbered diamond segments, and plenty of clues nearby. Interact with the door and murals to draw them in your journal. Next, look at the other clues to jot them down. There are paper clues next to three murals. For the artwork that doesn't have a paper note, look for a symbol that is circled and has the words "water animal" written next to it. Finally, interact with the buttons underneath each mural. These are circular buttons with stone diamonds sitting above a blue stone circle that is divided into quadrants. The right-hand journal page, seen in the image above, is all of that collated information. It is easy to overthink this puzzle because of this, but it is simpler than it appears. You need to use the number of gold stars, and the number in each quadrant \u2014 God's Blood 1, Transformation 2, etc \u2014 to spin the diamond dial around to its correct position. To save you time, this is what you need to to do: Liquid mural \u2013 keep in the diamond dial pointing upwardsTransformation mural \u2013 have the diamond dial pointing rightWater animal mural \u2013 move the diamond dial so it is pointing downEternal life mural \u2013 move the diamond dial so it is pointing down The locked door will open. Head into the next room and interact with the drum kit. There are three drums that you can hit, and each one has a different pitch. Begin by hitting the middle drum once. This audio-based puzzle requires you to play the notes in the same order that you hear them. Each correct sequence will light up a different section of the wall in front of you. If you mess up, the whole thing will reset and you will have to start over. This is the order you need to hit the drums, after beating the middle one to begin, in to complete it: Left, rightMiddle, right, leftLeft, middle, leftRight, right, left, middleLeft, right, right, middle, middle, middle If performed correctly, the entire wall will be lit up and a portalt with a handprint will reassemble.
