The Kongou Iconic Pistol in Cyberpunk 2077 might kick like a mule, but it will send a high-speed round through a human brain with surprising efficiency. From what we can tell, this weapon is missable in the game if you don’t manage to grab it.
The only place we have seen this weapon up for grabs is during the Heist mission. The Heist mission is the one that effectively closes out the prologue, and is when V and Jackie infiltrate Yorinabu’s penthouse suite.
You may have already noticed the weapon in The Information mission, while you examine the penthouse during a Braindance. In that scene, it will be sitting on a bench at the end of the bed, but when you get into the suit during the Heist you can find it on a bedside locker instead.
It is a very solid pistol, and can easily carry you through the opening portion of the game. Even though one of the perks is reduced recoil, it is still a bit of a mule when you fire it, so you will want to take it slow, landing headshots for maximum damage.
When you are grabbing the gun, don’t worry about any time constraints that are implied by the mission. Nothing will progress until you open the freezer and find the Relic, so you can take a few moments to head to the sleeping area and grab this weapon.
