How To Save In Far Cry 5
The game will automatically save when you Fast Travel, complete a mission, or reach a mission checkpoint. The save indicator takes the form of a few small dots that appear in the top right corner of the screen. Even with this autosave feature you still want to save regularly to avoid losing any mission progress. Nothing is worse than finding a big stash of gear, then losing your life to one of the many in game dangers.
To manually save, just hit the Options button, or Escape on PC, and you will see “Save” on the main menu screen. Hit that option and the saving symbol will appear. It can be easy to miss, as it is quite small. That’s it! Everything you need to know to save in Far Cry 5.
