Updated Story: Developer CD Projekt Red has postponed the event until June 25. All other information remains relevant.
Original Story: Night City Wire is an upcoming broadcast hosted by developer CD Projekt Red that is showing off Cyberpunk 2077 to eager fans who want to see hands-on footage of the game before it releases. The live stream event will be a way for CD Projekt Red to show off the game they were likely going to reveal during E3 2020. Given the larger event was canceled, their Night City Wire viewing event will be available for everyone, and you can catch it on June 11.
Given E3 was intended to be the final extensive press tour before Cyberpunk 2077 released on Sept. 17, we can expect a series of significant announcements and more thorough gameplay than we’ve already seen. We likely won’t have a chance to check out too much of the game’s primary campaign, but we can imagine CD Projekt Red will be more than happy to show off some side quests.
At this time, we don’t have an exact time for an event. We only have the date of June 11 to give preparation for what’s to come. CD Projekt Red announced a full month in advance, but we’re still left in the dark about what time we can expect to check out more of their open-world game. When we do learn these details, we’ll update this guide accordingly to ensure all of those details. For those curious about where to go, you may want to keep your eye on the official Cyberpunk 2077 YouTube Channel. Whatever the developers do share, we can likely check it out there once it’s gone live. You can also check out the official CD Projekt Red YouTube page, which will probably also have it.
We’re steadily drawing closer to the release of Cyberpunk 2077, and we’re still learning details about the game following every new announcement leading up to its release.
