In Mission: Heart Of The Matter Walkthrough of Marvel’s Spider-Man (PS4) you will be facing Martin LI as the main boss, he will unleash all his powers this time.
Spider-Man learns about all the conspiracy behind Martin Li’s rage and why Osborn and Dr.Octavius are enemies. He gets the information after Mary Jane investigates Norman’s penthouse in the previous chapter Step Into My Parlor. In the next mission The Heart of The Matter, while taking the antidote you will fight with Martin LI as the main boss.
The Heart Of The Matter Walkthrough
The mission begins as Silver and Sable agrees to join hand to save Norman, Martin Lin on the other side will be your main challenge.
Go To Oscorp’s Hidden Lab:
Reach the hidden lab and you will see Martin Li is already there and Norman is captured. You will have to defeat the Daemons. There are snipers also. First, take them down. You can play quietly and clear the area first. This will take time, a few Sabel’s guards will interfere and you will have to fight them also. After defeating them enter the Lab.
Go To Oscorp’s Hidden Lab:
Reach the hidden lab and you will see Martin Li is already there and Norman is captured. After fighting a few Daemons, Sliver will barge in and agrees to help. You will continue inside the building.
Find Norman:
Go towards the lift area, and crawl down. Watch out for the surges around don’t touch them. Keep going down and you will find Li. Once gain he will pull you into a dark realm. Keep following Li. As you pass through it he will disappear. Keep following him till you reach a room with floating items. After coming back there will be a cutscene. You will see Dr. Michael giving the sample antidote to Li and he tries to kill Norman where Spider-Man stops him. This will trigger boss fight with Li.
How To Defeat Martin LI – Boss Fight
Once the fight begins you will see that Li is pretty strong and he will release various types of attacks using his sword. The shooting web will not work, you have to first dodge his attacks and then use throwables to stun him. You will also see keys prompt when he is the most vulnerable. That is your best chase to hit him hard. This time Li’s attacks are very strong Just run in a circle around the lab to dodge it. Attack him when he is recharging himself. You will also have to resist his attack if you are near, just press the Square key. You will be then in the second phase of the fight, where he will release a shockwave of attacks which is very hard to dodge. You have to wait for him to recharge and stay around him, once you see the key prompt attack him. Throwables will not help you much, Just keep dodging his attack by don’t stay too far. You have to wait for him to recharge and that’s the time he will fall.
In the final phase of fight Martin LI summon a massive monster with a mask. He will summon a few supports around beat the Daemons and then target hm. He will use more powerful attacks now. So you have to fight the Daemons as well you have to dodge Martin Li’s attack. You will also have to watch for the huge Daemon who will appear in between to attack you. Use some throwables around and follow the same strategy wait for recharge and then attack.
The Daemon will spawn frequently in the end part, his swapping on the ground attack is pretty lethal. This will continue for a pretty long time. Next, after you are done with other small demons, Martin Li will attack you. He will once again summon his minion daemons and stay in between them. You can take the small one first, but focus more on Martin Li or else it will never end. In the cutscene, you will see Spider-Man giving the final kick of realization on Martin Li’s face.
Dr. Octavius is the next one who enters the picture as the final villain, and he beats the shit out of Spider-Man. He also captures Norman and takes the antidote with him. Silver and Dr. Michael takes injured Spider-Man to the shelter and tries to save his life. Spider-Man finds Aunt May might not be able to survive if she does not get the serum. This completes the mission, next you will be playing the final and Ending mission Pax In Bello.
