When does Chapter 2 Season 3 end?

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 introduced a great many changes to the game. The map is now flooded, new bosses, vaults, and locations have been added, and there are plenty of new weapons to find. There is also a new Battle Pass, filled with skins and cosmetics for you to earn. The start of the season, which eventually happen on June 17, was moved back a lot, due to situations largely outside of Epic’s control. As such, we expect the same to happen with the end date.

For now, the Splashdown season is due to end on August 27, according to some datamining by noted Fortnite dataminer Hypex. This date is drawn from the game files, and has not been confirmed by Epic at the moment.

There is a lot to do before then, however. The map has completely changed, bringing new areas to explore and huge changes to some of the named locations from last season. You can ride sharks and create your own Glider with the Build-A-Brella feature in the new Battle Pass screen. There is also a whole new Battle Pass to level up with weekly challenges, a new Aquaman skin to get your hands on, and various other surprises to get to grips with along the way.
