Xur Location In Destiny 2 (November 24-28) – What Should You Buy?

Xur sure likes to move around the galaxy in Destiny 2. Here's a quick guide on how to find him and what goods you should keep an eye out for.

Our friend Xur is constantly busy, so catching him in Destiny 2 is a game in and of itself. I can understand how playing hide and seek can be cumbersome, especially when you want some cool gear.

Where is Xur in Destiny 2?

Xur is currently located in the EDZ near Winding Cove. As always, you can reach this area by opening your director and choosing the landing point EDZ on Earth.

Once there, I typically head straight until I reach the giant white ship. I hop on the left-side cliffs until I’m at eye level with the crashed ship. From there, I jump on top of the ship, walk straight ahead (no turning), then drop down. Xur likes cliffs for some reason, and he’ll be standing near the cliff if you look to your right. He’ll say something in his usual strange gibberish, so I usually follow his soothing voice.

Xur’s inventory is hit-and-miss for November 24-28, with most of the good stuff being exotics, so make sure you have plenty of legendary shards available. If you still need to get it, you should aim for the Hawkmoon Exotic first; it’s currently one of the best exotics in the game and a personal favorite of mine. The Tractor Cannon is also good, and I use it regularly to dismantle formidable enemies, thanks to its ability to shut down their attacks.

If you’re short on combat bows, Wolftone Draw is a good beginner bow to learn how to get quick kills thanks to the Precision Frame. Another favorite of mine is the Ketchkiller set, which is pretty cool-looking for all class variations and is one of the sets that made me look like Boba Fett.

Xur is due to leave again on Tuesday, November 28, so it’s a good idea to grind for as many legendary shards as possible. The best way I did this was to spend Glimmer on Arc Effects by speaking to Master Rahool at the Tower, selecting the collections option, and choosing the Flair category. After buying a couple of Arc Effects, I dismantled them for one legendary shard each.

In no time, you should have more than enough Legendary Shards to buy whatever you need from our pal Xur. I’ll be updating this Destiny 2 guide weekly, so be sure to check back often to keep up with Xur and my recommendations on what you should look for when visiting him.
