Rockstar Games is hiring for multiple “next-generation (…) projects”, as mentioned in several job listings for its India and New York divisions.
As reported by GameSpot, the first listing is seeking a senior environment artist in order to introduce him in the Rockstar India office.
This person would be in charge of creating “next-generation worlds for some exciting upcoming projects.”
The same branch is looking for a vehicle artist, which seems to be a quite fitting job title for someone working on GTA 6.
“Next generation” is also mentioned in the Rockstar New York studio’s job listing for a MoCap tools developer.
“Future titles” are instead reported in the technical face developer job offer, a person who’d be in charge of helping “research and develop new technology.”
Looks like we’re getting more open world stuff from the makers of Red Dead Redemption 2, and something that’s set once again to raise the bar.
Could it really be Grand Theft Auto 6 for PS5 and Xbox Scarlett? We’ll see…
