There are also Amiibo figurines that you can collect and use. Using a figurine will summon a character to visit your village, while using the card will allow them to move in should you have the available space.

New Horizons is a hotly-anticipated entry into the series, especially given it’s the first title on the Switch. Collecting these cards and figurines is a great way to get your island and village populated with the adorable, fun characters the series is known for.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is set for release this Friday, March 20.
