How to get Masterless Stardust and Masterless Starglitter in Genshin Impact

Another premium currency, a little harder to obtain.

Genshin Impact does not overwhelm you with premium currencies. There are a handful of them, and yes, to receive many of the characters in the game, you have to pay attention to them, but you don’t have to use real-world money. Instead, you mostly have the play the game and earn Primogems by completing achievements, doing quests, fighting, exploring; nearly any activity in the game rewards you Primogems. There are two different premium currencies, Masterless Stardust and Masterless Starglitter, that you can use to directly receive weapons and characters, but getting them requires you to go through wishes.

You can use these currencies under the shop, but you have to go to Paimon’s Bargains, underneath the Starglitter exchange. There are various characters, weapons, artifacts, and even Intertwined Fate and Acquaint Fate you can purchase directly using that currency. It’s an excellent way to bypass any of the Gacha format to directly receive the items you want to purchase, rather than leaving it up to chance in the other wishes.

You only receive Masterless Stardust and Masterless Starglitter from wishes, though. To avoid using the wishes to directly unlock characters and equipment, you have to use wishes to unlock these currencies. It’s not the worst thing in the world, especially if you think about how many wishes you can do merely by playing the game, exploring, and doing the content.

You are given Masterless Stardust and Masterless Starglitter based on what pulls you receive for your wishes. Here’s the breakdown.

  • Duplicate 5-star Character – 10 Masterles Starglitter, 1 Stella Fortuna for them
  • Duplicate 5-star Character (Constellations maxed) – 25 Masterless Starglitter
  • Duplicate 4-star Character – 2 Masterless Starglitter, 1 Stella Fortuna for them
  • Duplicate 4-star Character (Constellations maxed) – 5 Masterless Starglitter
  • 5-star Weapon – 10 Masterless Starglitter
  • 4-star Weapon – 2 Masterless Starglitter
  • 3-star Weapon – 15 Masterless Stardust

The odds are not too bad. You can receive the best deal by having a duplicate 5-star Character with all of their constellations maxed out. That provides you the most. The others offer you a decent chunk and based on how often you request wishes, it’s a steady income you can use in Paimon’s Bargain store.

Make sure to check these offers regularly as the items for Masterless Stardust and Masterless Starglitter rotates out every month. The higher your adventure rank you have, the more items you can purchase closer to the bottom, giving you a more comprehensive selection.
