How to give orders to allies in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Need some help dealing with Moblin?

One of the more tedious tasks in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is to take out hordes of Moblin, along with the various bosses that are associated with each group. Luckily, you can ask for help along the way by giving orders to allies and move these characters across the map. And, it’s rather simple to do.

First off, you will need to have at least one character unlocked. This means you must have at least progressed far enough in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, to the point that you have unlocked at least Impa. Once you’ve done this, pause the game using the + button , and you’ll see a number of options.

Besides being able to change your character (which can be done by pressing Y), you can scroll over each character using the left stick and then press A. This will then allow you to control where you want the character to go. To move the targeted character to a specific location, just move the left stick around the map until you’ve selected the ideal location.
