Yoru’s Gatecrash ability can be highly disruptive to your enemy’s plans in Valorant. They think they have a defensive point on lockdown, but they are not banking on you being able to sneak a teleport into a tactically vital spot and start picking them off before they can react.
In this guide, we will run through some great Gatecrash points on Haven and Split. While the image below will show where to send the Gatecrasher (just look at the reticle), and the minimap will show you where to stand and where the Gatecrasher will end up, we strongly advise you watch the video below to see exactly how it will all play out in the game. Due to the nature of the ability, these images won’t be quite as self-explanatory as the best Blindsides spots.
It is also important to remember that Gatecrash does not come without risks. If enemies spot it as it tracks through the level, they can react to it. This includes destroying it if they can damage it enough, so simply setting an ambush for you when you decide to use the teleport.
Clever play will revolve around using feints and distractions to keep your enemies guessing because if you know these Gatecrash spots, there is a good chance they will know how to counter them through positioning or just staying alert.
