How to get Twisted Energy in Destiny 2 – Season of Arrivals

It's pretty limited.

One of the new features added to Destiny 2 is the Prismatic Recaster in the Drifters room of the Tower Annex. The Prismatic Recaster can be used to alter the Umbral Engrams’ nature that you will be earning, and these can then be open using the Umbral Decoder.

The Prismatic Recaster allows you to pick a specific pool of rewards that you want an Umbral Engram to contain, and then when you decode them, you will get an item of loot from that pool. It’s basically narrowing down the RNG a little bit of this specific loot source.

You can also rank up the Prismatic Recaster, giving it different effects and potential bonuses. To get Twisted Energy, you will need to complete Weekly Bounties from the Prismatic Recaster. These will reward you with 500 Twisted Energy each, allowing you to earn 1000 a week.

The other source of Twisted Energy in the game is the Season Pass. This will have rewards of differing amounts of Twisted Energy at different tiers. Unfortunately, the Daily Prismatic Recaster bounties do not reward you with any Twisted Energy; instead, they will give you Altered Elements. You will use these to change the nature of the Umbral Engrams in the Recaster, so they are still very important.

Only being able to earn around 1000 Twisted Energy a week is obviously a little bit of time gating from Bungie, but if we discover any more ways to earn this resource in the game, we will update this guide accordingly.
