Generation four Pokémon have finally arrived in Pokémon Go, bringing a whole host of new pocket monsters for trainers to find and capture in the wild.

Sadly, not every creature from the Sinnoh region is available at launch, with Niantic choosing instead to release the beasts in waves every so often. On Oct. 16, Niantic announced that the first wave of Pokemon would be added to the game gradually, giving trainers the chance to scout their local parks, towns, and social areas to begin their quest to “catch ’em all” all over again.

Pokemon Go Update 169

Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum added new Pokemon to the series, with some being evolutions or baby forms of pre-existing Pokemon. As such, you may still need to go out there and catch older Pokemon that have been in the game for a long time to evolve them into these new beasts. These include Pokemon such as Murkrow (who evolves into Honchcrow) alongside many others. You also have Budew, the pre-evolution form of Roselia, and Munchlax, the baby form of Snorlax, who might only be available to find by hatching eggs in the future.

It can be difficult to know which Pokemon have been added to the game, so we’ve created this handy guide to show off which Sinnoh Pokemon are currently available, as well as how you can go about getting them.
