Devil May Cry 5 is almost upon us, and those who want to pre-order their copy should know which edition they purchase
Devil May Cry 5 releases later this week, and there’s plenty to be excited about with March 8 drawing closer. There’s plenty of mystery around the game’s main plot, but also critics have hinted that they’ve had a great time playing through the game. Some fans may have already gotten a taste of the game’s devilish style having played the beta Capcom had out for the Xbox One.
You still have time to reserve your copy so you can start slashing demons on day one. Here are the available pre-order editions, what they come with, and the rewards all players receive for pre-ordering Devil May Cry 5.
The Standard Edition
The standard edition does not come with anything fancy, other than the bonuses you receive for pre-ordering the game. We get to those bonuses at the bottom. This copy of the game costs $59.99.
The Deluxe Edition
Devil May Cry 5’s deluxe edition packs a hearty punch and only differs in price by $10. This edition comes with several customizable Devil Breakers, which are hand attachments used by one of the title’s main protagonists, Nero. There’s the electrifying Gerbera GP01, the Pasta Breaker that features a fork at the end, the Sweet Surender where the fingers are more comfortable so Nero can alleviate Kyrie’s back and shoulder tension, and the Mega Buster, which is a Devil Breaker retrofitted to look like Mega Man’s blaster arm. You’re also going to get alternative style rank announcers, live-action cutscenes, three battle tracks each from Devil May Cry 1, 2, 3, and 4, and a modified version of Dante’s motorcycle, which he uses in fights. You receive all of this for $69.99.
The Collector’s Edition
With the Collector’s Edition, you receive everything already mentioned, plus some physical items. You’re going to get a Devil May Cry 5 art book that also features notes from Nico’s workbench, an “I Heart Osaka” bumper sticker for your ride, an 11-inch by 17-inch cloth print of the main characters, and a Devil May Cry 5 logo pin. The final item included in this bundle is an eight-inch replica of Nico’s motor home with Devil May Cry across one side in fluorescent lights. To receive this edition, you need to pay $149.99.

Pre-order Bonuses
All you need to do to receive these bonuses is pre-order the game before its release date, which is this Friday on March 8. By doing so, you gain alternative costume colors for Nero, Dante, Nico, Lady, and Trish. If you ordered the Deluxe Edition, you’re going to get those pre-order bonuses, plus 100,000 red orbs. You use these to give your heroes new skills and power-ups, so it’s an excellent way to start using high-end moves at the beginning of the game.
If you pre-order your copy for the PlayStation 4, you receive a Devil May Cry 5 theme to throw up on your menu, and those who pre-order for the Xbox One receives a new Devil Break called Buster Arm.
