Best Hunter Exotics in Destiny 2

Dressed for success.

All classes in Destiny 2 have access to their own specific set of Exotic armor. This will improve their abilities, make them more powerful, and tailor your loadout to specific tasks. In this article, we will run through some of the best Exotic armors you can get for Hunter.

Dragon’s Shadow

Dragon's Shadow

The Dragon’s Shadow has recently come to the forefront of Hunter Exotics as being much higher value than many of us first thought. The Wraithmetal Mail perk will cause dodging to grant increased movement and weapon handling speed for a short time, as well as reloading all your weapons. The “brief time” is actually 10 seconds, and the movement speed boost is actually much better than the one given by Stomp-E55s.

You can get the Dragon’s Shadow from Exotic drops from any source, such as Engrams or Nightfall loot.

Celestial Nighthawk

Celestial Nighthawk

The Celestial Nighthawk has always been a superb option for Hunters, turning their Golden Gun into a one-shot jackhammer that will decimate the health bars of any boss it hits. When it comes to quick boss burns, few things get the job done quicker than some stacked Celestial Nighthawks.

You can get the Celestial Nighthawk from Exotic Engrams, or sometimes from Xur.

Orpheus Rig

Orpheus Rig

The Orpheus Rig is a great option for Hunters, who like the Moebius Quiver super. The Uncanny Arrows perk will give you Deadfall and Moebius Quiver energy. Any enemy trapped in the Deadfalls will give back super energy, and you will also get more arrows for your super.

You can get the Orpheus Rig from Exotic Engrams, or sometimes from Xur.

Shards of Galanor

Shards of Galanor

For Solar Hunters who like the Blade Barrage super, then Shards of Galanor is a must. Hits and kills with the Blade Barrage will return super energy, making it very easy to quickly generate super after super.

You can get the Shards of Galanor from Exotic Engrams.

Raiden Flux

Raiden Flux

The Raiden is a little bit underrated, in our opinion. Arc Staff hits will buff your super damage, and duration, making this an excellent way to clear huge numbers of adds quickly.

You can get the Raiden Flux from Exotic Engrams, and it is occasionally available through Xur.
